(Author’s note – This is my first time writing comedy, so excuse me if you don’t fall on the floor in giggles. Hope you enjoy reading!)
The sun is the main source of light for us humans on Earth. We all think it is a ball of gases, but the truth is that it’s a human like us! Well, a 1000+ feet human, who is so fair that he literally glows. Even though he has so many planets around him, he feels oh, so lonely. So, he waves his arms to grab our attention, which in turn results in his light to spread in all directions; a form which we call ‘rays of the sun’.
As a human, he too, needs air, but in a HUGE quantity. Why else do you think outer space is air-deprived? The sun uses up all of it! During the day, he walks around here and there, which is the ‘use your common sense’ reason the sun rises and sets. At night, he goes to sleep with a thick, navy blue blanket, and that is why the sky is so dark and gloomy. Seriously, what do they teach in school now-a-days?
Apparently, he is an early riser, so we sleepyheads have to get tortured as the light hits our eyes as the obnoxious rooster wakes him up! The sun doesn’t like to be alone, so he sends his agents (he likes to call them ray-gents) to Earth who follow us in a very subtle way. We all think shadows are natural phenomenon, but nooooo. It’s simply our all-time-favourite star’s minions. So, for those of you who are scared of your own shadow, just remember that your shadow is not the work of light, it’s just a creepy ray-gent stalking you around, waiting for the right moment to jump out and shout, ‘I KNOW ALL THE NAUGHTY PRANKS YOU PLAYED AND I WILL TELL YOUR PARENTS! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!’
Yeah, that’s Mr. Sun alright. Next time you want to say ‘hi’ to your old sun pal, do not look him in the eye, ‘cause he has laser vision that can make you run away screaming. Instead, look at your shadow and start talking to it, while the people around you wonder if you are just acting funny or you are actually crazy.
Keep in touch until next time!

(For the record, everything you have read is true. Don’t try to deny it, unless you want a taste of the sun’s laser vision.)
