My life is quite boring. I do the same thing almost every day. Go to school, have fun with my friends, do homework, watch TV, study, and most of the things any 11 year old girl would do.
I live in a place where there is a lot of trees and plants. And where there’s nature, there’s always animals! One sunny day, my dad threw the cob of a corn in the jungle behind our house. He threw it because he wanted it to disintegrate in the soil. Many hours later, when the sky turned black and the twinkling stars appeared, I was sitting on my desk and studying. Suddenly, I heard noises from behind.
Leaves were rustling and twigs were breaking. I rushed out to the balcony, with my parents not far behind. We slowly opened the door and tip toed to the end of the balcony. The rustling sound kept on growing louder and louder. I could see a figure about the size of a pig. It was a wild boar!
I gasped. It was heading towards the place where my dad had thrown the cob. After finding the cob, the boar turned back and disappeared into the jungle. My parents thought that the show was over and were going to go back in when we heard more noises. My mom switched on the light so that we could see it properly.
I leaned forward to see it, and got the shock of my life. This time there wasn’t one boar, there were 10! The mother boar was leading the group and her nine children were following her. It was an incredible sight.
From that day onward, me and my dad throw raw food into the jungle every day for the big family of boars. And now the Boars are an everyday visitor in the small forest behind our house!
