Just imagine for a minute
How the world would be,
If words were called sentences,
And our two’s would become three’s?

What if everything turned lopsided?
What if sharks walked on land?
And cats roamed on their hind legs,
While humans on their hands?

What if the moon could speak Latin?
What if the Sun rose at night?
What if stars grew from plants?
And books knew how to fly?

Would I still be writing this?
With my hands? Or my feet?
With rainbows dancing around my head,
While swimming in a creek.
